Best before date

If you look carefully at the bottom of the label for the EVCLO Liquid, you may notice that there are actually 2 dates on the bottle now.

The first is the best before date if the bottle had been stored at fridge temperature (1 year from production) and the second date is the best before date if it has been frozen (3 years from production).

At Rosita, we FREEZE the oil in the deep freeze as soon as we receive it from Norway.

We believe that the oil deteriorates only very slowly in the frozen state but we do need to put a shelf life on it which is why we state 3 years.

Oxidization can only occur in the presence of oxygen, and is accelerated by heat and light. We safeguard the product by Nitrogen flushing the bottle (to remove the oxygen), adding a natural Vitamin E and a drop of Rosemary oil, and then freezing the oil really helps to preserve it much longer!

The key thing to preserve your oil is getting it cold BEFORE opening it. You should then use it within a few months after opening.
